Actually, no. At least, not yet. April 17th will mark 50 years, so whatever is in production at that time might be considered the 50th model year... Maybe? The first Mustang was not a 1964 model. It was officially a 1964 and 1/2 and began production in April. The first 2014's were produced in 2013.

There was talk that Ford might actually make a limited number (500) of a "2014 and 1/2" model, which would be based on the 2015.
