I really like the idea of a 4 cylinder turbo diesel in a small truck. I have a tacoma and really like it. The problem with all Tacomas is lack of power. The diesel could be the ticket to actually using the truck to pull a trailer.

With that said, we have a problem with the price of diesel in the US. The fuel is cheaper to make but costs significantly more. Why? The only thing I've heard is that the refineries make less diesel so it costs more. I would hope this could change because the increased mpg's would really be nice.
