Been waiting for 4 years for the 4 cyl turbo diesel hybrid pickup to hit the market. Question is...who is going to make it? Preferably it will be the 700 lb lighter F150. Needs to be a 4 cyl engine to keep the COST and weight in check. Four cyl diesels are MATURE AND RELIABLE technology, which are paramount to truck success. Hope it comes to pass before my 08 Tundra hits its 10 year target trade in date in 1.5 years down the road.
