$279 if you include the $1.000 at which Nissan values the old battery, and even then they conceded they'll be subsidizing the replacement batteries at least initially. It is unclear how much, but it's unlikely they are below $400/kWh given the worry that their in-house battery tech is not/will not be price competitive with LG Chem.
