Well, not entirely conjecture. Straubel's comments at least give us a ballpark figure, which is lacking for Nissan despite the replacement battery pricing (because Nissan said they are subsidizing but didn't specify how much). I wouldn't be too surprised if Nissan is below $400/kWh, and I hope they are, but my gut feeling is that they're not there yet and are still somewhere around most estimates for the industry as a whole.
