The notice went out to every buyer who purchased a 2007-2010 is250. If your car is experiencing a carbon build up issue, you don't need the notice/letter. What you will need is a mechanic to install a kit which is a three phase flush and change how the fuel is injected into the valves. Top end flushes are a temporary relief, it is not a fix. The flush, kit and labor are surprisingly inexpensive. $400-600.00.
