I have a 08 IS250 with 100,000 and have had no issues with rough running but am worried as my nine year window is fast approaching. Are all cars with this engine affected or are some cars never going to have the carbon build up problem? Also, if engines are being replaced, is a replacement with a 350 motor an option or does the type of transmission negate this option? Are new re-manufactured 250 engines a potential solution if out of the warranty window? I love the car and want to keep it for another eight or so years.
