When you were test driving the vehicle, did you have AC and headlight on? Was the weather hot or cold? My understanding is when you have AC or headlight turned on, the engine runs at higher RPM at idle therefore the vibration goes away. My CRV vibrates like one of those head massage vibrators. I don't think there is a new car out there that you can buy that vibrates like my CRV.
