I have bought used subaru's the past 18 years. Very few problems. Just the normal wear and tear. Finally bought my first new one in 2012. Have only used synthetic oil and change it as required. Last week oil light came on, 1.5 quarts later I'm at the correct level. Marked the dipstick to see when I'm burning oil. We drive sensibility and don't put a lot of strain on engine. No hot rodding! After my last oil change at 62,000 burned the 1.5 quarts in less than 3000 miles. 2012 not listed in recall. UNREAL!
