All I read were excuses for
All I read were excuses for why it can't be done, now the problem with the Fiat Chrysler team is that you should've looked outside the box, sure engine and transmission of the hellcat would set off that perfect balance of the viper, however you could've looked to the corvettes from a few years back and taken up the idea of a trans axle setup. This would set the weight probably near perfect balance again, secondly it would keep the viper in the game and if the hell cat is too wide and too tall the you can move it back more since you no longer have a 10 cylinder setup. For those who are enthusiasts of the viper good for them, now you can redesign the viper again and bring in a new viper culture and enthusiast group and bring costs down a bit by bumping the production up on the viper. Corvettes sell far cheaper than they should but Chevrolet does it. If you have to go back to building a pushrod wedge motor like reintroduction of a 383 big block and put a low deck supercharger on that with improved cylinder head flow. There are so many things that could've been done but there are far more excuses for why Fiat Chrysler doesn't want to do it.
