This is an utterly, B.S. statement. The motor (gas or diesel) offers nothing in the way of a feeling of control. A diesel may get the load moving quicker/better but neither motor will offer anything when it comes to controlling the load once it is moving.

I'd be afraid of pulling 6,000 pounds with either of these trucks, let alone anything close to their respective max specs.
