The low power output in the detriment for a very good mir range punch is fine for an SUV, remember the CX7 with automatic transmission which had a smaller turbo on the 2.3DISI-T and was making peak power at 5000rpm, it still was a quick family SUV (the MT version had the K04 turbo which was the same in 3/6MPS Mazdaspeed 3/6).

Now, to make it right, Mazda has to add hydraulic steering and dual injection in the Mazdaspeed 3/6. If they can tune the AWD system to be similar with what the FocusRS will have then we're set, we'll have another iconic car pleasant to drive.
