Let Us Start Paying for Tesla Model 3 Pre-orders Now

Some people would like to pay for their Tesla Model 3 pre-orders starting now, month by month. Wouldn't this be a good idea?

Imagine if you have put an order for Tesla Model 3 and if you have decided on all options you want, the price with those options is clear and you could begin to make monthly payments now. What if you could give Tesla let's say $500 a month and by the time your car is delivered you would have almost fully paid your Model 3, or at least the most of it.

Being able to make monthly payments to Tesla for Model 3 now would help Tesla and would help the reservation holder.

Alternatively you can put your money in a special account and let it accumulate by making monthly payments so you will have the funds available during the time of payment. When the Model 3 comes, pay cache. Some people suggest to invest in Tesla Stock (TSLA), but this is risky and you don't know if the stock price will go up or down.

Perhaps Elon Musk should look into this. Car companies do make partnerships with financial organizations. Now that people are willing to begin to make monthly payments, instead of putting the money in the bank, they can make payments directly to Tesla. This could help to finance the production of their own Model 3.

I learned about a Tesla Model 3 reservation holder, who has set up a separate savings account and puts money in it with each paycheck he gets from his work. He says his Model 3 is already half paid.

Which do you think is a better option: paying yourself in a separate savings account or paying Tesla to finance your Model 3? Paying yourself seems the better option, but what if one doesn't have a strong will power? What do you think?
