GregSS, I also don't know why they brought tires in to the discussion. that has everything to do with the tire and your driving habits.

However, the impressive thing about the brakes is that while you made it 90,000miles and needed a brake job, people have over 100,000 miles, one guy has over 200,000 miles, and there are no signs of any brake wear. At some point you'll want to flush the lines, but depending on how you drive the OEM pads and rotors may last the life of the vehicle.
