I rented a 2017 Challenger R/T a week ago - and I HATED the exhaust note. It is so annoyingly loud that I no longer think about trading in my 2011 Challenger R/T on a new model. I'm not a young guy (I'm 55), so maybe I just don't understand what's so great about having such a loud car. I don't want or need to broadcast to everyone that I have a powerful car - I just want the power. If there was a way to order the older-style, quieter exhaust system for the Hemi, I would perhaps consider replacing my '11 model. Until or unless that happens, I'll keep happily driving my current R/T.
