I’ve owned two and I can tell you it’s all hype. My cross trek was horrendous. Dangerous to drive it tram lined so bad. Multiple trips to the dealer for alignment, tires, and brakes and it was still all over the road. My Forrester XT was a little better, but the paint was so soft it scratched way too easy. Swirl marks everywhere from the car wash and so many electrical problems. I’ll never waste my money on another over priced, over hyped car.
