Melted my a/c belt yesterday. Finally found a new one, only to see that the clutch or something is going out. The pulley turns freely, just sticks when you turn a/c on, even though it wasn't on when the belt melted. Should get more than 3 yrs. out of an compressor. 1st place I called about replacement wants $1650. Looks like no more chevys for me...
