These comments is so ignorant of facts I don't know where to start. Let's start with the fact that aircraft mostly use a 7000 series of aluminum alloy where as Ford uses a 6000 series which is far more corrosion resistance. Ford has been testing the aluminum on truck beds since 2009 where they put them on some fleet trucks for real world testing. Aluminum has also been used on big rigs for decades. It's 2022 now and I've seen plenty of 2015 Ford trucks that still look great. This individual obviously works for the competition. GM now uses aluminum on hoods, doors and tailgate. Ford once again leads the pack.
