My 2007 Prius battery died at 109000 miles just outside the 100000 warranty and also my very pricey extended warranty. Dealer didn't care that I was just over the warranty period and charged me $3500 to replace. Was afraid to go with a second source supplier given the criticality of the part. Even better they only gave me a 1 year warranty on the battery. Toyota certainly knows how to keep their customers happy.
