I see a lot of 4.7 on the road.. never understood why consumers would not be willing to pay a little more for a 5.7 with MDS. the 3.7 and 4.7 will be gone. I hope the Pentastar will come with MDS (Cylinder Deactivation)? I think Some for KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System) like Hydraulic brake recovery or Flywheel Recovery is also on the horizon.
Not this truck, but IMO, The perfect truck would be a midsized, small bed truck with a midgate that folds into the rear seats. Specs fot the truck
- seats 5
- fold down midgate into cab
- high small bed that opens to expose a dry and secure trunk for tools and spare tire
- 300+hp
- only 4000lb towing
- integrated headache rack to lean a ladder or surboard when cab is occupied
-... oh yeah, north of 25 mpg city thanks to MDS and KERS. Would be cool if KERS was RWD and highway was FWD.
I'm waiting for that truck .. might be the new Rampage/Lifestyle truck they are working on.. lets see.
