I understand exactly what you were going through. Same thing happened to me when I was in the Bahamas. Nobody knew anything.had to get AAA to jump start then I took it to a dealer who kept it for a week to try and replicate. Today, four years later, same thing happened. Car was inactive for 24 hrs in my garage. Had to jump start. Now we’re skeptical driving anywhere. All the advice on internet talks about holding key fob next to steering column or cup holders to start vehicle. This is bogus.doesn’t work.
