Screamin’ Summer Deals Available on the Mazda Miata
So it’s perhaps unsurprising that enthusiast Web site Jalopnik is finding deals on used 2016 Miatas.
Specifically, the gang over there found that the up-level Grand Touring trim is a bargain, as it based over $30K new and some examples are being spotted online for around $23,000.
Go for the Grand Touring
That’s not the case with the base Sport models, many of which are so close in price to a new 2017 model that it makes more sense to shop new. However, a few high-mileage examples were available for a few grand off the sticker of a new car.
Back to the Grand Touring. The higher-trim Grand Touring offers either the manual or automatic transmission and features such as navigation and blind-spot monitoring.
With that being the top trim, it only makes sense that a buyer should try to snag one for cheap. There’s plenty of summer left to enjoy the car, and getting one now may be a smarter financial decision than buying new – especially since the 2018s won’t hit showrooms until fall.
Save Nearly $10K
A nearly $10K discount for a like-new Miata seems hard to beat. For less than the price of the base-model car, you can get a fully-loaded top-trim MX-5, as long as you can live with it having some pre-owned miles. That’s pretty incredible for a car that’s only in its second model year.
Go out and get your Miata now, while both the deals and the weather are still hot.
