I realize car companys try to streamline things to make things cost efficient but it would be nice if chevy made something in the middle, for starters why is the only v8 model an ss, in the past just because a camaro was a lower model didn't necessarily mean it had a 6 cycl. Also they have engines like the 4.8/5.3/6.0l why not make a budget v8 model that would still seem desirable to motorheads, they could use RS, Berlinetta ect and use one of the truck engines they easily out perform the 6 and the new 2.0t. it would still be a desirable camaro that can still have nice sounding exhaust and still support motorhead egos affordable to the working joe. Alot of people that want a camaro but are on a budget dont bother with the 6 cycl. Car just look elsewhere, i know i wouldn't buy one. What muscle car enthusiast wants a camaro that sounds like a tuner car!? Yuk! Just my budget minded i cant justify an SS camaro working stiff opinion...
