Honda Accord presents 2-premium advanced safety features standard for 2018
Honda leads the auto industry in the early integration of advanced safety and driver assist technology in sub premium class cars and light trucks, the auto industry as a whole, now follows that trend. I drove this Honda across los Angeles with my foot off the brake in 2015.
Coming up against the likes of a much improved Toyota Camry in the ‘bread and butter’ family sedan segment, for 2018, Honda Accord comes to market with several safety features generally reserved for the luxury car class. Already a top seller in North America, Honda intends to hold Accord’s sales position, by including on all trim levels, 2 safety and driver convenience features, generally reserved for the likes of Acura RLX.
Advanced safety and driver assist technology
For 2018, all Honda Accords, regardless of trim level, come standard equipped with the award winning Honda Sensing ™ ; also, a 6 inch heads-up display with a variable information menu in the 1.5 L, 2.0 L, and Accord Hybrid Touring respectively.
When combined with Honda’s ACE body structure, ride stability, and ABS, electronic assist braking, we anticipate a 5-Star, Safety Pick + safety rating for Honda’s reinvented Accord 4 door sedan.
It’s all included with Honda Sensing
