This Is One of The Largest Superchargers On The East Coast Opening Soon

Her is the image of one of the the largest Tesla supercharger on the East Coast of the United States surprisingly opening in Connecticut.

One would normally assume that the largest Tesla supercharger on the East Coast of the United States of America would normally open in a large city like the New York City, or Boston or their metro areas. But no. According to this image, posted on Imgur, this is one of the largest supercharger opening soon in Connecticut.

This huge Tesla Supercharger with 16 stalls, is opening in Manchester, CT. Manchester is right outside of Hartfords. It's east of Hartford and located strategically between NYC and Boston, almost half way. This location makes sense for all the travelers from NYC and Boston. Manchester, CT is about 125 miles from Times Square, NYC and 349 miles from Washington, DC. So if you are traveling with your Tesla Model S anywhere between Washington, DC and Boston, including NYC and Philadelphia you can benefit from this location given your Tesla's Model S range.

At this time thought, Manchester, CT isn't shown as a location on Tesla's supercharger map. It's because the supercharger is upcoming, not ready yet.

I have to say that I read in a discussion on Reddit that Sarasota, FL Supercharger is up and running with 20 stalls. Whereas this one has only 16 stalls. However, I can't confirm this information at this time. If you know, please write in the comments.

I am sure that by now you know that Tesla has a new and nice looking urban superchargers. Here is Tesla's updated supercharger network map and the new Urban Supercharger in case you haven't seen it yet. If you don't know how Tesla's superchargers differ from 3rd party supercharging networks you may want to look at this comparison as many EV enthusiasts believe that companies like GM should should also be funding EV infrastructure.
