I have a tweaky back (gets sore in the lumbar area easily). I also have a 2017 Bolt. I do two long commutes (2.5 hours) each week - and my back looks forward to sitting in these seats. Bear in mind, I have the upgraded seats - which I think simply effects the material (trim in leather) and not the support system. Also, there is no separate lumbar support control - it just seems to me that they got it right in the first place.
