Someone here likely knows the details on this better - but when comparing price - one has to consider how many EVs the manufacturer has produced. The $7,500 incentive that is commonly referred to for a Chevy Bolt goes away when Chevy has sold a certain number of cars (I think it's 100k - not sure). Since Nissan has been selling EVs for a significantly longer time - their incentives will disappear before the Chevy ones will. Tesla's will disappear first. I have been driving a Bolt for 9 months now (7k miles) and absolutely love it and its very well thought through internal intelligence of range management and information display.
