I test drove the Bolt and
I test drove the Bolt and found it very comfortable like a sedan. The Nissan Leaf unless they changed it, has a very hard ride like a sports car. I am currently driving the 2015 model. The 2012 was very comfortable and then to get more miles out of it they changed the tires. The seats do not support your back like the Bolt. I felt this immediately when I test drove it. I am a big Leaf fan but they really missed out on the range and the tech. The Bolts screen is huge and in color like a large ipad. I examined the cargo space and thought it was large enough but your numbers and my eyes dont match so I am going to check with a tape measure and bring 4 empty carry on pieces of luggage. The one thing I absolutely hated about the Bolt was the shifter. In order to shift your hand has to wrap around a big knob and then depress in with your thumb a lever. Its difficult for me and I have those strong garden hands. What were they thinking?
In the Nissan Leaf, you wrap your hand around a Ergonomic knob and just move it to park reverse etc. The Bolt and Leaf both have great sound. For those of us who are on leases, we have to make a decision. Many Leaf drivers are now on the end of their 2nd lease and were promised a longer range. 150 is not what we were waiting for!
