Nice review! My wife and I recently purchased his and her 2018 CX 5s and share your experience in discovering how well they compared to other cars in the compact SUV marketplace. It seems that the more you drive one of these cars the more you fall in love with it. We had set out to choose between the Honda CR V and a Subaru Forester of Crosstrek. Our test drives convinced us that none of them compared to the CX-5 in handling, ride, comfort or quiet. Way to go, Mazda! Oh, and by the way, zero interest financing to boot.
