I’m actually in the market for a compact SUV since I’ve been driving a 2 door hatchback and my wife and I are expecting our first this fall. It’s interesting that your Honda dealership told you that heated steering wheels aren’t available for the CR-V, because it’s definitely an option.

I’m actually leaning towards the CR-V over the CX-5 right now because you can get the heated steering wheel on any of the CR-V trims, not just the highest one, whereas the heated steering wheel is ONLY available on the highest (Grand Touring) trim CX-5, and even then as an additional optional purchase.
