I stumbled into this thread late my 2015 scat pack M6 was just got hit with the dreaded engine sport bug. It was a pretty simple fix after i watched this video. Basically you go to this site driveuconnect.com/software-update and put in your vin, it will then offer up the latest download which in my case is Uconnect_VP3,18.45.01-My13-17. The air link had pushed out 17.11.07 which had the bug. Download the newest version zip file, open it up and put the extracted files on a usb mem stick with at least 4 gig of mem and clean no other files. Then insert into the usb port in you console box and start up the car. It takes a min, but it will ask you if you want to upgrade to the new version hit yes and off it goes. Be sure you have at least 30 min for it to complete the update and DO NOT SHUT OFF THE ENGINE until its complete. After it complete I check and engine sport was enabled by default in sport mode as it should. Hit the sport button and bam that little engine surge we all love hits when the active exhaust pops open and that rumble kicks in
