Yeah Dennis - a puzzling move to say the least. However, no surprise since they went the "one engine fits all" route on the Forester. Why concede power to your competition. Like it our not the XT was the only viable option for the 5% that got one. As I said in a previous comment - the bean counters won and the enthusiasts lost... Now every version is just ordinary and the Sport just have a few extra faux CVT gears, sport sharp mode on a 182 horsepower CUV, come on man...
