Yes, this is absolutely silly. I live in WA state, have driven Subarus for years, and for no particularly logical reason I can't buy a hybrid CrossTrek here in Washington. They would sell well here. It feels like Subaru is only selling these in the particular states because they have to and they likely don't make as much $$ on the hybrid version vs. the regular version even with an elevated price. A few months ago one of the local sales people said it would be at least another year for the hybrid CrossTrek to come to Washington State.
