I would say I agree with some points but the overall strategy suggested is a big no.

Unless the Z wants to go the way of the Ford Thunderbird after Ford went back to its roots on that great now defunct car. The Sub and Genesis coupes are crap, handle worse and cannot compete with the Z. Have had both, never again. I love my Camaro, backseat is unusable but nice for gear. My 370Z is the car I go out when I head out the door. My vote would be stretch the body a bit to add a small backspace and bigger engine bay and go with a v8 in the 435hp area.

From my perspective no car has been as fun to drive matched with an unmatched dependability.

They redid the platform (300Zs) before so why not now?
