Listening to their buyers have a bunch to do with sales. I have been a Ford guy my whole life (71) and planned to buy a new Ranger. Ford said we will build only a 4 cylinder Ranger NO V/6. I was very tempted to jump ship but after this long I stayed loyal to Ford and have a 2018 F-150 King Ranch in my garage..With a 5.0 V/8.
