I have a 392 Daytona and as much as I'd love doing this in the future, I've heard time and time again that these motors simply don't put up with the boost. Which is why the hell cats have a smaller bore and leave more metal to prevent cracking. Rebuilding with good components is a must, but last I checked, putting anything more than a pro-charger on them just starts a ticking time bomb.

I mean, I could be/ would love to be wrong. But I'd sooner replace the block.
