Just FYI, Chevy offers a 2000 CC version of diesel engined car in India which is a smashing hit. The power is 150 BHP, Torque of 309 NM, Top Speed of 210 KMPH and a mileage of 14KM/L. This car is not sold with Gasoline engine at all and is beating, Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla both since the time it is launched. Civic has just gasoline engine whereas Corolla comes with both Gas and Diesel Engines.
