I have a 2017 Crosstrek and the head unit freezes up when it is 85 degrees or hotter outside. Running the A/C seems to help but when it does happen, I have no control over anything, no control from the steering wheel buttons, the radio either freezes up or scrolls endlessly thru stations, the unit randomly selects what screen to display, etc. Backup camera works 90% of the time which makes it not reliable. Turning the car off and back on again resets everything. Tough to do when you're using navigation on the freeway. I'm not doing anything about it until it fails as I don't see anyone including the 2017 Crosstrek in the lawsuits.
