My wife and I purchased our 2018 Subaru Crosstrek Limited in December of 2017. We started having these issues with the stereo systems in early 2018. We still issues erratically. This last weekend, I started the car, and the radio came on, but shortly afterword, the radio went blank, with static lines across the screen. I shut the car down, waited a couple minutes, and restarted. It did it again, so I tried again. This time it came up the way it should. This is the first time for that, but previous issues were, screen locking, inability to use touch screen or volume controls, and backup camera issues. I'm making an appointment with Subaru today to fix the issue. Previously the dealer has asked me to reset the system. This is okay once, or maybe even twice, but when you buy a new car, everything should work flawlessly without me having to reset anything. This is an expensive car, and resetting the radio is not a fix.
