I had those problems with my 2019. After trading I the 2016 which had similar problems I was told Subaru “fixes” all the issues with Apple play. I’m now sitting in the dealership waiting for them to install the new Update from Subaru Corbet. The whole system froze up and wasn’t working. My fear is I’m right back to where I began with my 2016. I can’t believe the company could go so many years without getting the electronics fixed.
