Special thanks to VW for making the literally most anemic 2.0 turbo on the market. Not sure how they accomplished this, but there are 2.0L 4 cylinder engines, normally aspirated, with more HP, such as the Subaru BRZ, and the Mazda Miata. Heck, the upcoming Toyota Corolla with its new direct injection 2.0 as an upgrade is slated for 169 HP which is only a little lower than this Passat.

Not sure why VW even wasted their time putting a turbo into it with those lackluster numbers.
