I have a 2020 outback with all of the Starlink problems discussed here. Mine even changes XM channels and turns on the emergency flashers by itself. Everyone I have talked to concurs that this is a Starlink processor and touch screen problem (hardware not software) and can only be resolved by replacing the entire head unit, software updates will not fix the problem. I understand that the processor failure rate is statistically high enough that even replacing the head unit may not fix the problem.
