Not the same truck but I have the 2007 Tundra. 182k and Im currently planning and update on all the essentials, water pump, timing chain, belts, hoses, new headlights, tires, hi performance fluids except tranny., new seats. Toyota’s quality had gone down hill since 2007 and I cannot see paying 50k for a bunch of headaches. Even used 2014-19 are not worth it. I will drive this truck probably until I’m gone. I’m 59 and until Toyota or any truck manufacturers put out a truck better than the one I got, I will keep my money and keep pampering what I have. I have researched and come to the conclusion that US automakers don’t want to make a quality truck that will last. All the options you pay for is just somyelse that they can’t fix. It blows my mind that we can’t get a Mack type truck for guys who love trucks. They make them inferior because we will still by them. Insane!
