2020 Toyota 4Runner and 2020 Tacoma Will Rock Out with JBL Premium Sound
Toyota and JBL formed a partnership in 1996 to deliver audio to your cars and trucks exactly as you would hear at legendary concerts and rock tours. Each Toyota model is uniquely fine-tuned with perfect speaker placement to bring you music that is crystal clear to all passengers in all rows of seating.
This multimedia team continues its tradition for premium sound with the introduction of both the 2020 Toyota 4Runner and the 2020 Tacoma.

Toyota 4Runner and JBL
Toyota engineers took great care in designing a premium sound system for today’s Toyota 4Runner. With up to 3 rows of seating, music must be crystal clear for all passengers.
This intricate JBL system features 15 speakers, including a nearly 8-inch subwoofer and 10-channel 550-Watt digital sound processor amplifier. Digital sound processors deliver many important benefits, including working to achieve optimal audio power throughout a vehicle.
The 2020 Toyota 4Runner will continue offering JBL premium sound as standard equipment with the Limited, Nightshade Edition and TRD Pro models.
Also, plan on being able to utilize the many benefits of Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM and Amazon Alexa commands in your next 4Runner. They will be standard applications across all levels.

What about 2020 Tacoma?
Truck enthusiasts are anxiously awaiting the arrival of 2020 Toyota Tacoma. This will be a refresh year, so plan on valuable updates including new grilles, wheels, power driver’s seat (on SR5 and above) and even a new exclusive Army Green color. Plan on standard Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM and Amazon Alexa compatibility.
Expect 2020 Tacoma JBL premium sound to include 6 JBL speakers featuring subwoofer and 8-channel 440-Watt DSP (digital sound processor) amplifier. With a smaller cabin than the 4Runner, both drivers and passengers will enjoy the compact musical perfection within the cabin to the fullest.
For 2019 this sound system was standard on the Tacoma Limited and TRD Pro. Plan on this continuing to be offered in these grade levels for 2020 model year.
Let’s hear from the people…
I get a lot of feedback both from my readers and my Toyotajeff YouTube Channel viewers. This is where I get many ideas for my stories and videos. It was great to hear from people who have JBL sound systems in their Toyota vehicles and learn about their experiences.
Michael had some killer feedback. “We just purchased a 2019 Toyota Highlander Limited Platinum with the JBL Premium Audio System....The Sound is BEYOND AMAZING!”
“I’m a 2018 4Runner owner and it (JBL) sounds great in my vehicle.” Said music lover Dara.
Andrew reported in after visits to his local dealership. “I test drove the New Camry and Avalon both had JBL and yes they sound fantastic! The Avalon sounds the best but that because it has more power!! Really like both!”
Then, of course, there are true fans who simply love the entire brand, like my YouTube channel viewer Fabian. “I have a Tacoma with JBL, a JBL Flip 4, JBL headphones, JBL earphones, and JBL home speaker. LOVE THEM ALL!!!!”
Do you have a JBL sound system in your vehicle and how do you like it? Will premium sound be part of your search criteria during your next vehicle search?
