My 04 prius battery failed at 200800 miles a week ago. I opted for a new Toyota battery installed by my mechanic. Toyota is now providing a 3 yr warranty (use to be one). Apple's to Apple's it was about $700 more than a green bean install but my car is in excellent shape and a new battery gives me piece of mind.
