I am confused about the battery pack. I have a 2006 with 80,000 miles on it. A few years back I replaced my battery at a Toyota dealer for under $400 because the car would not start in the winter. Now all my lights are on....a small diagnostic tool of a friend said the engine was fine but my ABS was the problem. I took it to repair shop they said I need a Hybrid battery. and that is my confusion. What exactly is a hybrid battery. What does it do? Why did the diagnostic took say the light signified the ABS system. Atfirst the pick up was slow and then it would kick in and drive normally. Now, the car drives perfectly but the lights are still on. What is the meaning of all this?
