I have had a code P0880 (transmission control module input signal malfunction) .Before I got all lights on on dashboard for a 2 days ...o did some kind the press button hold for seconds and just the engine light remains...scan tool shows the code above P0880 ..since that I’ve been looking Navi videos and articles about it ...and I decided to do my by self diagnosis and repair it ...I love my Prius !biside that I notice that my hybrid battery is going way which makes sense because it is original one and I have 270000 miles ...I’m trying to find if there is any connection between the Code P0880 transmission control module input signal malfunction and the fact that the hybrid battery is going way..On top of that I discovered that my Toyota Prius V 2012 has a recall (inverter /converter software) and maybe this recall could generated the P0880 code and maybe Toyota can replace my inverter /converter assembly for free ! I’m not a mechanic but I have had so many old cars and fixed then well and some electrical knowledge that allows me to go deeper on that conclusion.i want to fix my hybrid battery replace them correctly balancing then and if possible get a new inverter /converter .thanks feel free to call me 415 8502798 California
