I have a 2002 F-150 with a manual transmission. It still works fine, but some day will need to be retired or re-powered. We have a solar house, so a conversion to an electric pickup might be worthwhile if the costs of the electric conversion aren't too high. I've heard of folks taking the drive trains from totaled Tesla and converting vehicles to electric propulsion as well...any thoughts?
