Disappointing Tesla (not verified)    January 31, 2021 - 9:48PM

Everything about Tesla seems to be better than Prius except for one thing: reliability. And reliability is still what most consumers care about the most as Toyotas still sell like hot cakes.
With Prius, EVERYTHING will still be working when it’s 10-15 years old and it will work every single time. With Tesla, you’ll have issues with door handles, screen not turning on, giving you error messages, and the car itself will look beat up with terrible build quality. If you plan to keep it for the long haul, I think Toyota will have better resale value. Right now, depreciation on Tesla is great, but as supply increase with Tesla, depreciation will get worse.
Definitely, tech in Toyotas are behind. But it works every time.
