We had a 2013 Crosstrek for 5 years. While it’s true that the demographic skews young, also that car has a CVT and absolutely no pick up. I wonder how many of those accidents were so to poor drivers assuming they could accelerate more quickly than they can. We sold ours because I didn’t want our teens learning to drive on it for that exact reason.
